PASSAGES OF BECOMING

In this series, I turn my lens toward the hydrangeas growing near my home, plants known for their full, layered blooms and shifting colors. Their complexity and quiet resilience reflect where I find myself now: in the midst of menopause, a phase often overlooked yet full of meaning. Like the hydrangea, I am moving through a stage defined not by fading but by transformation. It is a deeper, fuller kind of presence that comes with age. These images serve as a meditation on beauty that emerges gradually over time.
